Why can’t you use ImmunoCAP to test for every substance that causes an allergy-like reaction?

Allergy

Different substances can provoke different kinds of adverse reactions in vivo and only the IgE-mediated reactions can be tested with ImmunoCAP (also specific IgA ab and IgG ab in some cases). More than 500 different allergens and panels are available.
